Bedford Insurance Group was recently made aware that an unaffiliated, unknown, fraudulent entity is sending emails purporting to represent our Agency in the hiring of staff for a Remote Data Entry Clerk project.

Bedford Insurance Group has no such project and is not hiring.

Unfortunately, this scammer is using our Agency’s name, address, and website in these fraudulent emails, and has secured an email address that is similar to ours and thus, quite easily misleading.

In the image below of an email shared with our team, the scammer’s email address is @bedfordsinsurancegroup.com. Our email address is @bedfordinsurancegroup.com – with no “s” between the words bedford and insurance. The scammer’s name used in this particular email is Jeffery Joann. There is no one by that name affiliated with Bedford Insurance Group.

Please do not respond to or communicate with this entity. We can only assume their intention is to deceive and defraud those seeking legitimate employment opportunities.

We are disappointed that earnest, legal businesses such as ours must contend with such illegal and immoral activity from scammers who choose to waste their life energy in defrauding and harming others.

Fraudulent Entity
